Ben Galpin & Marc Zayat perform at Sharjah Fringe Festival

Ben Galpin and Marc Zayat travelled to the inaugural Sharjah Fringe Festival in the United Arab Emirates to perform in Joyce.

Ben played Dad and Marc played Bo-Bo the Hamster, who journey together into the world of a storybook in this hilarious and heart-warming family show. On their way, they meet some extraordinary characters including a stick of Dynamite who could explode at any moment; an inventive, futuristic Spacewoman; a daydreaming medieval Prince; and a Giant who yearns to be small.

Charlotte Workman in Derby Theatre’s A Christmas Carol

Charlotte Workman will be playing Mrs Cratchitt in Derby Theatre’s A Christmas Carol this festive season.

Neil Duffield’s stunning adaptation of Charles Dickens’ treasured novel returns to the Derby Theatre stage. Performed by a talented ensemble cast, this much-loved festive story will be a heart-warming experience for all the family this Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, the cruel humbug Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley to warn him to change his miserly ways. After midnight, three spirits guide Scrooge to journey through his Christmas past, present and future, to reveal the errors of his cold-heart.

Along the way he encounters the mistletoe and merriment of Mr Fezziwig’s dancing party, Tiny Tim’s generous Christmas spirit and the true consequences of his meanness and misery.

A Christmas Carol runs from 29 November 2019 to 4 January 2020.

Nadia Shash in Emily Rising

Nadia Shash is touring with Emily Rising, a co-production between Little Angel Theatre and Goblin running across the UK throughout Autumn 2019.

Emily wakes up one bright autumn morning to find that her feet can’t touch the ground, and no one can understand why. To everyone’s surprise Emily keeps rising higher and higher.

From sleeping upside-down on her ceiling and flying above her school playground, to soaring over a starry-skied London, Emily’s adventure is just beginning. Emily discovers a world that looks completely different.

She’s not scared at all – it’s fun being high up. But she’s not coming down…

Amy Loughton in Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre

Amy Loughton heads to York for Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre’s 2019 summer season.

Amy plays Fluellen in a ‘potent retelling’ of Henry V and Adrienne in The Tempest, a production ‘full of joy, exuberance and magic’.

Both shows run in rep from 26th June to 1st September in the pop-up Rose Theatre built at the foot of York’s historic Clifford’s Tower.
