Originally from Wrexham, North Wales, David had various careers before training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. since graduating he has performed at nearly all Number one touring houses across the UK.

Amongst the theatre companies he’s worked with are the Royal Shakespeare Company, Young Vic, RNT Studios, English Shakespeare Company, Salisbury Playhouse, Cheltenham Everyman, Oldham Coliseum, Leicester Haymarket, Theatr Clwyd, Sherman Theatre Cardiff, Riverside Studios Hammersmith, The Watermill Newbury, Finborough Theatre, Ashtar Theatre Ramallah, Aarhus Theatre Denmark, Playhouse Theatre New York and Steppenwolf in Chicago.

After 18 years of almost exclusively theatre, David joined Actorum in 2005 where TV, Film and commercials drew him to the ‘Dark Side’

Casualty, Holby, Doctors and Richard Day, the vet in Eastenders for ‘ongoing dramas’ Six Queens of Henry VIII, Genius:Picasso, Murder Maps, Murder they hope, The Widow, The Tunnel, In My Skin, Worzel Gummidge, the Prime Minister to Liz Harley’s Queen in The Royals and a ‘tour de force’ Councilman opposite Henry Cavill in The Witcher. Most recently David is to be seen with Martin Clunes in ITV’s ‘Out There’

Film appearances include the multi award winning ‘Frequencies’ , Winter, The Christmas Prince II, The Silence After Life, AUX, Don’t Knock Twice and the 2024 ‘Kollywood’ release

AYALAAN as the NASA scientist Dexter Williams in India’s biggest and best SciFi film ever…..

A semi-regular face in commercials, David has been associated with Argos, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Coronation Street, National Lottery, Children in Need, Paddy Power, Darren Brown’s Apocalypse, Find My Past and Irish Lotto

Across five decades ( where did that time go ?) David is always hungry for new challenges to rise to and is still considered to be a potential ‘overnight success’
