Ben Adams back at the Unicorn Theatre in Not Now, Bernard

Ben Adams will be performing in the Unicorn’s adaptation of Not Now, Bernard. David McKee’s iconic picture book, loved by children and adults for over thirty years, will be vividly brought to life in a brand new version directed by Sarah Argent.

Ben had previously worked with the Unicorn on Baby Show as well as Minotaur and My Father Odysseus in their 2016 Greek Season.

Not Now, Bernard runs at the Unicorn from 27 May – 1 July, with full details on the Unicorn website.

 

Amy Loughton stars in feature film Crowhurst

Amy Loughton plays Clare Crowhurst in Crowhurst, the psychological thriller based on a true story.

The feature film has already received fantastic reviews, including ★★★★ from The Guardian★★★★ from The Times and The Arts Desk praised it’s “jagged, nerve-shredding and visceral account of mental disintegration”.

Annette Flynn recording audiobook for Liz Nugent’s Skin Deep

Annette Flynn has recently recorded the audiobook for Skin Deep, the sinister new novel from the No 1 bestselling author of Unravelling Oliver and the Richard and Judy Book Club pick Lying In Wait.

Melissa Parker in WEIRD at the Arcola Theatre

Melissa Parker in SLAM soap winning play WEIRD

Melissa Parker stars in one woman show WEIRD by Lucy Burke, which has just been announced as the winner of the Arcola Theatre’s SLAM Soaps 2018.

Melissa’s piece was voted through every night of the competition, before winning the final in a landslide victory on Saturday 27th January.

On 10th February the winning play was performed in full, to a packed house at the Arcola Theatre.

Based on the writers own experiences with mental health, WEIRD is an exploration of what it is like to live with obsessive compulsive disorder, but not only that, it is a play about growing up, self discovery and learning how to be your best self, even if your best self is just a little bit WEIRD.
