Annette Flynn is an Irish actress living in London, with a base in Ireland also. She is a versatile screen and stage actress, is highly competent in a variety of Irish, British and American accents and can count comedy, dramatic roles, physical theatre and classical text as some of her strengths.

Best known for her role in popular Irish soap Fair City, playing flirty and fun-loving school teacher Maeve for over two years. More recently, Annette appeared in several episodes of Hollyoaks as D.S. Glenn, detective at the heart of investigating a series of sexual allegations, as well as guest role, Liz Herdsman, in Eastenders, transplant co-ordinator to Phil Mitchell.

For stage Annette won the Best Actress Award in the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival for her portrayal of Eva Gore-Booth in the one-woman stage show I Run, I Sing, I Swim, I Dive.
