Melissa is an actress from Yorkshire who graduated from the BA Three Year Professional Acting course at LAMDA in 2016.
Her credits whilst training include war-orphan Ann in Goodnight Children Everywhere directed by Tom Attenborough, Alice in Simon Stephens On The Shore of the Wide World, Rachel in Posh directed by Vik Sivalingam, and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth directed by Tim Luscombe at The Pleasance Theatre, Islington; an opportunity for her to explore her love for Shakespeare.
She’s a transformative, brave and thoughtful actress, with a grounded sense of humour, a knack for improvisation and a big passion for new writing.
Her credits since graduating include short film Babies (Ten Ten Productions), Ma Kelly’s Doorstep (Attic Theatre Company), award-winning one woman play WEIRD (The Arcola) and Adam and Eve (The Hope Theatre).
