Peter Losasso joins the Guildford Shakespeare Company for a double bill!

To celebrate 60 years since the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre first opened their doors, the Guildford Shakespeare Company have joined forces with the theatre to produce A Comedy Of Errors, where Peter will be playing Dromio, alongside A Company Of Rascals written by Phil Porter. This hilarious new ‘play behind a play’ is performed simultaneously with the same cast of comic characters moving between different locations in the theatre. Cast announcement: Ella Blackburn at Orange Tree Theatre

Ella joins the cast for OTT’s production of Julius Caesar aimed specifically to introduce children to Shakespeare in this 60-minute adaptation tale of ambition, loyalty and betrayal in ancient Rome. The cast will be delivering workshops on local schools before seeing them perform n the OT stage. There will also be a public performance for all audiences on the 22nd June at 11am. Jessica Dennis in Aladdin at the Stephen Joseph Theatre

Jessica plays Aladdin’s mother in Nick Lane’s adaptation of the classic story by Hannah Diyab where the action take place this time in the magical land of Scarbaresia!

When a mysterious stranger shows up promising him riches, power and answers about his dad, Aladdin thinks all his dreams have come true. All the stranger wants in return is for Aladdin to go to Hairy Bob’s Cave, retrieve a lamp and bring it back.

Simple, right?

Well, it would have been… if Aladdin hadn’t rubbed the lamp…

Katherine Rodden in Jeeves & Wooster Perfect Nonsense

Katherine joins the calamity in the English Theatre of Hamburgs production Jeeves & Wooster In Perfect Nonsense.

The spirit of the P.G. Wodehouse’s 1938 novel, The Code of the Woosters, is captured in this tour de force written for the stage, which won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 2014.

Jeremiah O’Connor takes on Picasso

Following on from a sold out debut run at the Old Red Lion Theatre earlier this year, Maar, Dora returns at the Camden Fringe in the story of Dora Maar hailed as one of the first artists in the surrealist movement, and Picasso’s lover (Jeremiah O’Connor). History holds Dora’s romantic involvement with him as the only memorable thing about her, but in this play, Dora is here to tell you differently. Delving into the deepest depths of her career, and his cruelty, battling to escape the association with Picasso that looms over her, and face the question of whether erasing him from her legacy would inevitably mean erasing herself further.
