Hannah Boyde in BBC Radio 4’s Daphne & Apollo

Hannah Boyde plays Daphne in BBC Radio 4’s moving ‘fictional-documentary’ Daphne & Apollo, in which the actors are interviewed in character and respond with semi-improvised performances. Daphne & Apollo was first broadcast on Radio 4 Tuesday 19th February and available on iPlayer afterwards.

In this drama about economic abuse, or the financial exploitation side of domestic abuse, Daphne falls wildly in love and in six short months loses everything. She then attempts to fight for justice…but can she get her voice heard?

Hannah Boyde in Holby City

Tune in to BBC 1 at 8pm tonight to catch Actorum’s Hannah Boyde as guest lead Katherine Clarke in Holby City.

Episode 27 of Holby City’s twentieth series sees the hospital pushed to its limits after a major incident. This also puts the party celebrating seventy years of the NHS on hold.

One of the patients awaiting treatment after the town’s major incident is Katherine Clarke; her situation is complicated by the fact that she is suffering viral cardiomyopathy so is actually on the Holby Heart Transplant list. Shy and soft-spoken, Katherine is not kicking up a fuss like some other patients so could be in danger of being overlooked.
