Barkha Bahar

Barkha is a recent graduate of  RADA‘s MA Theatre Lab, originally from Assam, India. She first started her journey in theatre at The Seagull Theatre Academy, her parents’ theatre company, before attending Christ University Bangalore to do her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, English and Psychology.

Barkha has trained at multiple theatre workshops with eminent theatre practitioners across India in Mumbai, Mysore and Kochi, to name a few.

An emerging talent in Assamese cinema, she wrote and starred in her own feature film called ‘The Seventh String’ and has also directed her own play, ‘Dancing Miserably’.

Not only does Barkhar write her own work, she also paints and plays the violin, harmonium and ukulele!
