Mario is a native Londoner from Italian stock. He recently played The Crystal Merchant in the Cornish Theatre Collective’s highly
acclaimed production of Paolo Coelho’s THE ALCHEMIST. Other recent theatre credits include
Herbert Greenleaf in THE TALENTED MR RIPLEY for the Dukes Lancaster and Laurence in
ABIGAIL'S PARTY for UK Touring Theatre.
Mario has excellent physical theatre skills; he trained in Commedia Dell’Arte with Antonio Fava in Italy.
He has performed with Red Shift Theatre Company in THE RED PRINCESS, LES MISERABLES, THE
MAN WHO WAS THURSDAY and NICHOLAS NICKLEBY. He is a member of Lightning Ensemble, an experimental
theatre company who devise new work, some of which has been shown at the Soho Theatre.
On television he has appeared in THE HARRINGHAM HARKER (a BBC comedy pilot), THE STRETCH for Sky TV and
Channel 5’s FAMILY AFFAIRS.
