Taking on the challenging role of Gertrude, Joyce Greenaway is part of a dynamic cast in one of Shakespeare’s greatest pieces of work.
Reviews have already come in for Joyce and she is described by Stage Review as ‘looking like a gangster’s moll in black leather, who delivers an excellent death scene’ and in Female Arts her Gertrude is described as ‘stoical in the face of the disaster of her family; a proud yet uncomfortable presence that encapsulates the struggle at the heart of this eternally conflicted queen.’
