Originally from N Wales, David had various careers before graduating from
the Royal Welsh College of Drama. Since 1987 he has performed at nearly every
No 1 touring houses across the UK.
Amongst the companies David has performed with are the, Royal Shakespeare Co,
Young Vic, RNT Studios, English Shakespeare Co, Salisbury Playhouse,
Cheltenham Everyman, Oldham Coliseum, Theatr Clwyd, Sherman Theatr Cardiff,
Aarhus Theatre, Denmark, Playhouse Theatre, New York and Steppenwolf in Chicago.
TV appearances include SHAMELESS, CASUALTY, DOCTORS but not HOLBY
for some inexplicable medical reason. David’s film career to date has been
sporadic. However, he is awaiting the release of the feature,THE MANUAL
OXV, a Sci Fi movie and has recently filmed an independent short, LOVELY
MONSTER. David’s most recent stage work has been at the Riverside
Studios, Hammersmith in Wajdi Mahoud’s SHORE, directed by Anne Khazam.
On TV David has just been in integral contributor to the Channel 4 'Dispatches'
programme where he played a dubious Greek accountant, Ulysees Kostas, in
the financial exposé GO GREEK FOR A WEEK.
